Animal
Disney T&A

Outfit: Mouse ears / Oh-so-tight name sweater / 1st pair of noticeable boobs on Disney Television

Tagline: "See ya real soon!"

Plot summary: It can be argued that Annette was the first teenage TV sex symbol. She had a good singing voice, yes. And she could act, sure. But it was her wholesome cuteness (and her ever-growing breasts thinly veiled beneath her name sweater) that garnered her international fame, and left the entire teenage male population of the US stammering for words worse than Grace impersonating Mr. Rooney.

After The Mickey Mouse Club's first rendition ended in 1959, Annette moved into Disney films, most notably the color musical Babes In Toyland, where she frolicked, bounced, and jiggled though an Ozlike landscape seemingly  made for her to bounce and jiggle through. Few during that time could say what Babes In Toyland was actually about, but even fewer could deny that it was captivating in an almost hypnotic, bouncing jiggly way.

Eventually it became clear that Annette was growing too sexy to appear in Disney films. Walt rapidly replaced Annette with the far less jiggly Haley Mills.  So after bidding "Grandpa Walt" a kiss and fond farewell (and who knows what else) Annette moved on to the more mature beach blanket genre, where her fans finally got a good eyeful of what they'd been fantasizing about for half a decade. User Comments:  No matter what Annette wore, it was all about the tits. That sweater was like a slowly growing black and white pied piper leading teenage boys to the bathroom with their mouse ears and a tub of Vaseline. I just never figured out why it had her name plastered across it. It wasn't to remind her of her own moniker, otherwise it would've been upside down, and she would've been blonde (and perhaps could've beaten out Sally Field for the role of Gidget.) Perhaps it was meant to be some sort of "cold guard" in case the Club House was unusually nipply nippy.

In her later years, Annette made several utterly forgettable made-for-tv movies for the Disney Channel, along with a Mousketeer reunion special. Then in 1987, whilst filming Back To The Beach, she learned that she had multiple sclerosis. Now she's jiggly for a whole other reason entirely. Go for a ride, you don't even have to put quarters in her.
