For over four decades now Sesame Street has touched the lives of millions of children. Through Jim Henson’s genius new form of experimental television was born. Sesame Street, one of the original pioneers of educational television, proved that TV can teach children how to read and write. Although there had been attempts before it Sesame Street was successful where others had failed, and it brought its educational message to the mainstream. Sesame Street is now viewed in countries all over the world and it has been translated to over forty languages. You can join the team if you’re a hard worker who flourishes in a team-based atmosphere.

BIG BIRD PUPPETEER

In this unique and physically challenging career you will have the opportunity to puppeteer America’s favorite bird. As a Big Bird puppeteer, you will operate the giant bird from the inside. Your right arm will control the bird’s facial expressions and head movements, while your left arm will control the bird’s left wing, and right wing via a string of monofilament. Benefits will include health and dental insurance, as well as the opportunity for promotion.

Requirements include:
-At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Puppeteering
-A fetish for sock puppets
-No previous urges to molest children
-Live with mother
-Have knowledge of basic numbers and letters
-Ability to sing
- A childish outlook on life
