Plot summary: Buzz Lightyear is either a toy in Andy's bedroom, or the greatest Ranger in the history of Star Command, depending on which show you're watching. He looks like Putty from Sienfeld and sounds like Santa Claus, so you never know whether he's gonna sell you a car or give you one. In either case, his arch nemesis is the evil Emperor Zurg, sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance, Buzz's father, and a surprisingly great Dad. Buzz is loyal, energetic, reliable, and is completely made of plastic. Add some high-powered batteries and he'd be every woman's dream. (more) User Comments: I've had a couple of chances to catch his daily TV show. I have the same question with it as I did with the Toy Story films. Why does he have a damned ampersand on his chin? And here's something else. In the animated TV show, he's a real person, not a toy, so why does he STILL never take off that ridiculous purple skull cap? It makes his head look like something I'd take for acid reflux. I hear Disney plans on making a third film in the series without Pixar. Yeah, that should go over about as well as a gay fetish Batman movie. User Rating:
