Plot summary:

The Mickey Mouse Club has been reborn twice since its initial run in the 50's. The first was in 1977 and was called the NEW Mickey Mouse Club. It was syndicated and lasted a mere two years, mostly due to the incessant disco songs they were singing and their wacky mod outfits (including baseball cap versions of the traditional Mickey Mouse Club Mouse Ears beanie.)

The next incarnation began in 1989 on the Disney Channel, and had gone from being an original concept to little more than a rehash of Fox's syndicated hit Kids Incorporated. It was not until 1994, however, that Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera joined the show. It was cancelled the following year, showing that out of an entire nation of tone deaf morons, only Disney viewers could recognize aural diarrhea when they heard it. Britney went on to sell millions of records pretending to be a whore. Christina went on to sell millions of records by being a whore. Justin and J.C. helped form N'Sync, and then Justin moved on to become known as "Inspector 31," a quality control technician for the Sir Busts-A-Lot Brassiere Company. (more)

User Comments: Justin has gone from being an awkward little dork in 80's era flash duds who could sing and dance to being the white Michael Jackson (though he probably took more of an interest in Janet's tits than Michael ever did.) And to think I could have put an end to all this... Several years ago, around 1995 or so, I was down at Disney on vacation. The Mickey Mouse Club was filmed right there at the MGM Studios backstage lot. And while I was there, I bumped into young Justin in the commissary. When I think of what good I could have done for the world with just one well-placed chop to the Adam's apple... I consider it a lost opportunity.
