Outfit: Chinese Battle Armor / Pony Tail / Bruce Lee pants and slippers Tagline: "I'll make a man out of you!" Plot summary: When the Huns threaten China's borders, a call to war is sent across the land. Mulan's father is old and frail, and will surely die if he goes to war. So Mulan cuts her hair, dons his armor, and goes in his place, pretending to be his son "Ping." She quickly arrives in Chinese "boot camp" where she meets Li Shang, her drill sergeant of sorts whose job it is to mold her into a real man's man of a warrior. Li Shang is strong, resourceful, and brave. He is also amazingly lacking in tact, restraint, and tact. In fact, his little cooler brother Ritchie calls him on it constantly, reminding him that "You're ain't got no moves baby! You gotta know the mooooves!" Li and "Ping" are sent to the front lines. Ping risks her life to save his in battle, and her secret is revealed when the doctor examines her. Li banishes her, not only out of honor and tradition, but also out of embarrassment for being too stupid to know a hot chick when he sees one. On her way home, she uncovers a plot to kill the Emperor. She tracks Li down, and with his help (and the help of her friends) she saves the Emperor and kills the Hun's leader. Li thanks her with his usual lack of girl skills, and the Emperor takes him to task over it, telling him that "only one with the Glow will tap that ass." (more) User Comments: Li spends much of the movie walking around with his shirt off, exhibiting his ultimate manliness. And yet he doesn't know that a class-A hottie is standing right in front of him till twenty minutes from the finale. Maybe all that armor he wears has sweated out his brain. I'm sure it's confusing, finding yourself attracted to someone you thought was a dude just a few days prior, but there's no excuse for his overwhelming lack of skills in the female department. The guy is the son of the General of the Chinese army. He could have any woman from the Emperor's harem he chooses. Clearly he's experienced. But he gets around Mulan and all of a sudden he's the "breaking voice" guy from the Simpsons. "Dah, you fought good, sa-hir!" User Rating:
