Plot summary:  

Mr. Toad is a gajillionaire who is constantly becoming obsessed with whatever the newest big thing happens to be. On this particular occasion, it's a motorcar. He becomes so enamored with the idea of a motorcar that he is later framed for stealing one and winds up in the slammer giving toad jobs for smokes.   

But even jail time was not enough to teach Toad the error of his ways. His forelorn friends knew that it was only a matter of time before some new, flashy advance or fad would catch his frantic amphibian eye and send him into a Lovecraftian madness. Too soon, as it would turn out. He was on his way home from being released when he happened across a radio playing German top 40. Within seconds he'd obtained a new obession:

There's no other way to say it. Toad is NUTS.. watching him gallivanting around in his nightgown made me think of an old movie I saw when I was about twelve that starred Peter O'Toole or some other old school British actor. It was called The Ruling Class, and was about a millionaire who'd gotten it in his head that he was Jesus, so he had a giant wooden cross built in his cavernous living room that he could crawl up onto and pretend to be crucified... yeah. To sum up, Toad is NUTS!
