Plot summary:

Mr. Smee is kind of like an old man doing security at a guard's shack for seven bucks an hour. He knows the job sucks, he knows that his boss doesn't give a shit about him, but he's been doing it for so long that he's too set in his ways to do anything about it. In his heart, Mr. Smee seems like the only worthwhile person on the Jolly Roger. He always manages to have a smile on his face, and is always kind to Peter and the other children. In other words, if he went on a diet and swapped his sailor garb for a bathrobe, you'd get this:

"Sure Peter, come on over. I got lotsa yummy Popsicles down in the galley. Forget about that silly old Wendy. Girls, who needs 'em, right?" (more)

User Comments:

Mr. Smee has been spending way too much time in the galley. Look at that Dunlop poking out from under his shirt! If ever there was a former celebrity who needs to be eating Weight Watchers and enduring Physical Challenges right alongside Jani Lane and the Snapple Lady, it's Mr. Smee. I mean, just... just LOOK AT HIM! Throw him in a red suit and park his fat ass in front of Macy's with a bell and a bucket and every poor kid on the goddamned planet would have a Merry Christmas!
