Plot summary:  

This kid falls down a hill and wakes up eight years later. He was in his back fucking yard in a coma for EIGHT YEARS and no one found him. It's like home alone, but with less robbery, and it's in the woods. I guess the only thing these movies have in common are the uncaring parents. Ok, FFwd the tape to when he wakes up. All these scientists probe this kid's brain and find some alien shit going on. They take him to where they're keeping an alien spacecraft, and learn that they are somehow linked. The ship calls to him, and he jumps in and pilots the badboy. They fly all around, underwater and what not, and the ship "Max" tells the kid "David" of the "Aliens" and what they do to "Humans". I don't want to spoil the ending, but the kid ends up safe and sound in his own time. I said I didn't want to spoil the ending, but I didn't say that I wasn't going to. Suck it up, the movie is two decades old.(more)

I totally wish that an alien ship would come down and be my friend, maybe then the bullies at school wouldn't beat me up every day and take my lunch money so I have to starve until I get home. I really just want to be their friends, but they just keep wanting to hurt me. I don't understand why, but they just keep doing it. Only by watching movies like this and The Neverending Story can I escape the harsh realities of my own life. I'm in college, btw.

Classic movie, total classic. This is one of those movies that you just love watching over and over. I swear, I could get baked out of my mind and think that I'm actually in the movie, and fly my own spaceship. I'm high right now.
